Buccellatini

Buccellato is a typical dessert whose name derives from Latin buccellatum, that is, bread to be transformed into buccelli, or morsels, due to its softness. Very fine shortcrust pastry which contains a rich filling of dried fruit, figs, chocolate and candied fruit.
Considered a true milestone in the Sicilian confectionery tradition, buccellati rightfully has a place of honor on every table set for the Christmas holidays.
Thanks to baking, buccellato can be preserved for a long time and is consumed throughout the entire holiday period.

Ingredients: Farina , sugar, honey, eggs, Preserves Figs, Chocolate, candied oranges
