Description
Modica chocolate derives from an ancient Aztec recipe that was acquired and perfected in the County of Modica at the time of Spanish domination, in the 16th century.
This product with a unique and unmistakable flavor and consistency is obtained from a particular “cold” processing of the cocoa mass, obtained from the toasted and ground seeds of the finest cocoa qualities, to which granulated or cane sugar is simply added and any aromas that characterize the various tastes.
The aroma of cinnamon enriches this tablet with intoxicating scent and that spicy taste that brings the mind back to the warmth of a fireplace on a winter evening. It can also be enjoyed as hot chocolate, dissolved in a cup of boiling water.
May contain traces of nuts and milk proteins.
